Greetings, all. Alex here in the wee hours of the morning with Nicholas happily playing with his blocks. We watched Hi-5 as usual and read the book Utterly Lovable Dogs. He gave each of the dogs and puppies a kiss. After an hour and a half of Hi-5 I put on Tron and showed Nicholas the lightcycles, which he enjoyed quite a bit, making "whoosh" sounds as the cycles raced by.
Things are clearing up at work and I'm not working late hours these days. Gauntlet is due for submission yesterday but there were online bugs preventing that. Regardless it's awfully close. It's much nicer to be able to see your wife and son when you go home. We also had a small Halloween this year. I worked and Jeanette took Nicholas to her friend Deborah's house to go trick or treating in our old neighborhood in Rancho Bernardo. I'd like us to do something special this weekend since I worked last weekend. Maybe the zoo? We'll see, but it's easy to get cabin fever in a small apartment so I'm sure seeing some animals and wide open areas will help both Jeanette and Nicholas.
Grandmummy's birthday is coming up on the 5th. I've sent her a card and hope her birthday will be enjoyable! That's about it for now, signing off...
